"Inside the Painters Studio" Introduction

Artist Peggy Coots and I were having a discussion about the general role of an artist blog. We discussed our own blogs and what we would like them to communicate about ourselves, the daily practice of art making and a few of our particular viewpoints about being artists. During the conversations we somehow landed on the book "Inside the Painters Studio" by Joe Fig. We are both fans of this book and find the questions to be both interesting and illuminating. So we decided to answer them on our respective blogs. These questions will be answered in installments and I intend to include studio images along with my written statements. Here are the first two deadlines we have given ourselves to get started. Please check back for my answers and a link to Peggy's blog as well as the other "blogwatchers."
